Dave McDermott

President & Founder

Dave founded Premier One Computer Solutions in 1991 with a simple set of guiding principles: take care of the employees, deliver amazing customer service to the client, and always be willing to go the extra mile. These values have allowed Premier One to grow steadily for over 20 years. His true passion at Premier One is in developing a team of leaders who can open the doors of amazing service and people-centric solutions to many more businesses throughout the country.

Another passion is application development, and he is energized by turning an intangible idea into a real application that generates real profit for a business. Seeing a project through from developing an idea, to manifesting it through code, and then observing the enormous impact that the application can have on a business... that's what gets him out of bed in the morning. When he's not working, he loves old cars, is an avid art collector, and appreciates a good brew (or two).

Julie Falk

Sr. Applications Specialist

Julie has been making clients happy at Premier One since 2003. If you call to get help troubleshooting an issue with Archive Express or RamQuest, you'll get the privilege of talking to Julie. She can help with everything from the keyboard to the cloud and has a knack for listening well, reading between the lines and making your wishes come true - even before you know what they are!

Her favorite thing about her job is that she gets to take a problem that has ruined someone's day and fix it for them. Making someone's day better is what fuels her passion for what she does. Her philosophy is that technology is valuable tool, but that people come first.

When not running with issues for work, she is running in her spare time too. Julie has completed 2 marathons and loves spending time with her 5 children!

Kevin Nincehelser

Kevin may have joined the Premier One team on April Fool's Day in 2014, but the experience he brings to the table is no joke. After earning his MBA, Kevin dove straight into the workforce and eventually landed his dream job at Premier One. Business development, strategic planning, compliance, and performance management are all in Kevin's daily responsibilities. He values building long-term trust relationships and does his best work under pressure.

Every morning when Kevin wakes up he is excited to go to work and do something important. He loves the passion Premier One has for taking care of people through IT solutions and he believes that's what sets P1 apart. “IT companies are so often about the sales goals and bottom lines. For us, money is only a byproduct of a group of good, talented, trustworthy, hardworking people helping businesses by taking care of their IT needs,” he says.

Outside of the office, Kevin is quite the musician. From acoustic guitar and drums, to bass guitar and singing, he can do it all. He also has three little boys and a superstar wife to keep him on his toes.

Chris Hamm

Over Chris's 14+ years with Premier One he has worn many hats. From custom software development to web applications and security, he has experience in virtually all elements of the company, although seeing how individual solutions fit the bigger picture for an organization is one of his specialities. He is also passionate about learning how the “bad guys” beat the system and then finding ways to prevent it.

Besides satisfying customers, Chris loves to travel with his wife and is a master at DIY projects. He also knows how to find the best bargain if you're looking for a deal!

Aside from the owner, Chris has the longest tenure in the company. He is proud to have helped Premier One grow into today's successful business.

With over 23 years in the industry, Jim Jones is an IT expert. Researching new technology to ensure he is providing the most cutting edge service for his customers, as well as seeing the big picture and finding the best tech fit for each client, are the skills Jim is most passionate about.

An entrepreneur at heart, Jim has successfully managed numerous IT organizations before joining the Premier One team in early 2015. He loves working for P1, because it allows him the opportunity to interact in all areas of the business.

Besides his love of continuous learning, podcasts, and audiobooks, Jim's wife and children keep him very busy. After growing up being the only boy in a family eight, his home is the exact opposite with seven boys and one girl! And if that doesn't keep him busy enough, he is a licensed drone pilot and enjoys taking landscape photos from the air.

Amanda Bretches

Client Communications Coordinator

Amanda is a great listener and provides added value to each and every client she speaks with in her role as Client Communications Coordinator. She is a master at understanding your needs and working quickly to fix the issue. She has been excelling in customer service since 2011.

Amanda not only helps her clients, but she has been involved with Camp Hope, a summer camp for children with cancer, for 10 years, serving as Activities Director for 2 of them.

Amanda is continually learning and absorbing information to help her assist her clients. She works hard to make a contribution to Premier One's clients and is an invaluable asset to the team.

Adam Thieschafer

Adam works at Premier One managing the post sales and project pre-implementation phases of the client development process. Adam has gained invaluable experience working at a variety of companies throughout north central Kansas. Responsible for quoting projects and maintenance, defining client solutions, purchasing and billing; he brings a sense of urgency and precise communication to every project he works on.

For Adam, Premier One staff embodies the values he's always looked for in a company. He admires and aligns with their customer-first beliefs and always strives to provide an uncommon level of service to his clients every day.

Michael Maddeford

Software Developer

Determination to capture every requirement and ensure it's fulfilled for the customer is one of the many reasons Michael is a valuable member of the Premier One team. He is also persistent and makes it a point to stay up-to-date on the ever-changing IT industry to ensure his customers are getting the best solutions.

Before Premier One, Michael made sure F-16 fighter jets flew by designing their internal systems. He also worked with other groups to make sure they worked with the rest of the aircraft system. He has developed several apps and in 2015 he completed the data science specialization offered by Johns Hopkins University on Coursera.

Sara McBride

Web and Software Developer

When Sara joined the Premier One team in October of 2014, she brought with her a unique background filled with vast experience in web designing, marketing, advertising and sales. That knowledge has made her very successful in her role of updating and creating new websites for clients, assisting customers on Archive and other programs and also training clients on the numerous software programs Premier One has to offer.

A lover of people, Sara is an expert at getting to know her clients and their business needs and helping fulfill their dreams. She enjoys experiencing the client's enthusiasm and creating something the client will love. She also knows the Premier One audience well and continues to read, watch and listen to different publications in the industry to stay up-to-date.

Outside of Premier One, Sara spends her time reading books (250-300 per year in fact!) and following all Kansas sports, but especially the Kansas Jayhawks. Most importantly, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her five nephews.

Brad Foos

In 2007 when Brad joined the Premier One team, he left Corporate America and never looked back. His expertise in hardware/software support, troubleshooting, documentation and customer satisfaction fits in perfectly with the Premier One team, and the small business atmosphere is one Brad really enjoys. “We, in a sense, are the backbone of the business processes that we support,” Brad says. Getting to directly assist customers with their needs is very satisfying to him, and he's proud to do that on a daily basis at Premier One.

Brad loves achieving goals by working as a team but is also not afraid to work independently on a task to help get the job done. He has worked in the field for over 30 years, and that experience has led him to much success in customer services, supporting specialized apps, new PC builds with respective softwares and more.

When he's not at the office, you will mostly likely find Brad either on the golf course, at a sporting event (go Royals!) or catching up on the latest episode of Big Bang Theory.

Kathy Mannen

Finance Manager

Kathy was instrumental in encouraging Dave to start Premier One before the company was even born and she has been integral to the organization ever since. Though her primary responsibility is keeping Premier One's financial house in order, she also takes on the monumental task of making sure that the orneriness of the staff doesn't get too out of hand. Every employee at Premier One will tell you that Kathy makes the best roasted salsa this side of the Kansas river.

Matt Smith

Service Technician

Matt joined Premier One as a part time employee a little over 2 years ago, and brings his beard and positive attitude to work each and every day. He has over 5 years of experience in desktop support and many more in customer service. Matt is currently a student at Washburn University studying Computer Science and hopes to work in software development in the future.

In his free time, Matt sings barbershop with the Capital City Chorus and his quartet Doublestuf. A self-proclaimed “Beer Snob”, Matt never shies away from talking craft beer and will always recommend something delicious!

Tyler Conway

Director of Operations

Tyler has worked for 15 years helping customers with their records and information management needs. He had the joy of being a customer of Premier One for many of those years. Joining the Premier One team late in 2017, he works to bring his customer service experience and problem solving skills to the information technology world. Tyler enjoys applying the resources available at Premier One to solve problems and help build efficiencies for the customer. When he isn’t working, Tyler enjoys playing golf and getting to the lake with his wife and two kids.

Shawn Fox

Director of Sales & Marketing

Shawn Fox joins Premier One as Director of Sales and Marketing. In this role, he is responsible for growing the business and maintaining Premier One’s current customer base. He is tasked with promoting Premier One’s Cloud Solution along with its Managed IT Services. Fox will also promote the extensive Premier One product portfolio, designed to support enterprise level businesses with the newest technology solutions.

Fox comes to Premier One with 12 years of experience in technology and business development. He was most recently Vice President of Sales and Marketing with InWare, an Ohio-based software development company. During that period, he also served as Marketing Technology Manager Resource Title National Agency.

Previously, he served in senior sales positions with Implementing Technologies and DCT Telecom Group. Shawn received his Bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University in 2001.

Mike Smalley

Software Developer

Arriving in early 2017, Mike brings with him years of experience in software development. As a primarily self-taught programmer, Mike has been learning the ins-and-outs of his craft for nearly a decade. Working in the industry since his first year out of high-school and eventually migrating to Premier One, he has garnered a wide range of experience helping customers large and small.

Despising stagnation, Mike is constantly evolving and improving his abilities and the quality of the applications he constructs. Starting in the aircraft maintenance industry and continuing to present day, Mike has spent a majority of his professional career rebuilding and reviving old applications, bringing old designs up to par with modern expectations.

Growing up playing in scholastic Jazz bands near Wichita, Mike has developed an intense appreciation for music. On many nights you can find him loitering around music venues in Lawrence, KS.

Dominic Eddy

Sr. Desktop Support Admin

Dominic brings his experience supporting extremely diverse organizations. From marketing agencies to high-tech software developers, Dominic understands how good IT support is essential to helping a business thrive. When he's not busy making Premier One clients smile, Dominic can normally be found tinkering in his personal Linux distro or following the latest industry developments in his newsfeed. And of course, long walks on the beach.

Logan was born in Wasilla, Alaska and moved to Kansas of all places to continue his education in Information Technology (and for the warm balmy weather). He has an Associates of Science in Information Technology and plans on continuing his journey to earn his Bachelor’s degree while also growing with Premier One’s bright future. When not at work Logan continues to learn more about the ever evolving world of technology and also has a passion in graphic design.

Jarod McAferty

Senior Desktop Support Administrator

Beginning in late September 2018, Jarod brings nine years of technical experience to the Premier One team. His goals are to bring his expertise of various systems and unconventional style of humor to better serve Premier One's ever-expanding customer base. He brings with him several system certifications such as Connectwise, Storagecraft, and others. When not in the office, Jarod likes to spend time with his wife, sing 90's R&B hits to his cat and occasionally take out the trash. He is excited to join the Premier One team and serving our clients with the professionalism and skill that Premier One is known for.
